Enhanced HLS Security

Enhanced HLS Security provides additional security step in HLS videos decryption process and will further prevent downloading of videos via all known video downloader extensions. 

Please note: if this option is turned ON it will invalidate all direct .m3u8 links (like this one https://media.publit.io/file/ToriiGates.m3u8) and you will need to use Publitio Player or Source HTML to embed and play videos.

To enable Enhanced HLS Security option, follow these steps:

1. Go to API Settings page
2. Enable Enhanced HLS Security switch button (turn it to ON)
3. All your HLS encrypted videos will now perform additional security step during hls decryption process and will prevent all knows video download extensions from downloading your videos.
